Acrylics
Much of my art is inspired by my interest in the interaction between chaos and order. I like to observe how pretty much everything in both the organic and inorganic world moves back and forth between the two states. I’m more specifically interested in the patterns found in nature and in built environments. I also like colour, and the effect of light and shade upon it. Things like this inspire me and show up in my paintings to varying degrees. I’ve been working in acrylics since 2007, and have turned towards abstraction in recent years. In the past I have worked as a graphic designer, and did illustrations in a cartoon style.
