About WCAS
Established in 1988, the West Carleton Arts Society (WCAS) is an active, non-profit volunteer organization of vibrant, talented visual artists and fine crafts people. Our dynamic program includes three annual shows, two of which are juried. We host an annual Spring Into Art Conference, workshops, regular ARTiculate get-togethers, and for members, an opportunity to show your work at several local venues.
Member benefits include opportunities to show work at several local venues including two Ottawa Public Libraries, West Carleton Family Health Team Clinic in Carp, Plant Bath Wall Space and to apply to Expressions of Art and the $100 & Under Christmas sale. Members also expand artistic horizons at workshops and their network of contacts through exciting volunteer opportunities, ongoing email updates of our activities, events, and opportunities of interest.
Members have access to a free social profile on the WCAS website, and teaching artists may have a listing on the website. Our website is the place for up-to-date information on all our activities.
