WIRING YOUR ART FOR HANGING
Please ensure that all your work is wired like you see in this video. D-Rings make for a secure hanging. Screw-in Eyelets mounted external to the frame will mark your walls and if they are mounted on the inside they may pull out if your painting is large.
DO NOT USE EYELETS. The use of eyelets may be a cause for rejection in any exhibition venue.
The video recommends to install the D-Rings 1/3 down from the top of your work. If a painting is large this can be 1/4 of the way down. DO NOT wire too high.
When you add the wire think about the hook(s). You DO NOT want the hook to show above your frame. But also do not wire too tight that you cannot get your arm behind the painting.
Use the right gauge wire for the weight of your work. AND consider the plastic coated wire, it is more professional and feels nice in your customers' hands.
