I've always been both a painter and photographer at heart, where my vision sometimes starts with the camera and later translates through the paintbrush.
My passion is in street and landscape photography, some macro, and more recently pet photography. I always strive to capture the hidden stories and natural beauty hidden behind the seemingly bland everyday scenery. I often use a lot of colour and negative space in my work. I often focus on bland, everyday imagery but bring out the starkness that is often missed, with attention to movement, shadows and colours.
Similarly, my acrylic painting mirrors a lot of my photography. With attention to detail and shadows, my style veers towards landscapes, vintage cars and flowers.
