StainedGlassArt

As a maker of StainedGlassArt, I use the traditional method of copper foil and solder to create panels. Using non traditional materials, and applying decorative soldering techniques , allows me to create very original works of art.

I create panels meant for hanging on windows or walls. As well, some smaller pieces are made to sit on a surface in a holder.

I am happy to make custom designs and sizes to suit a particular space.
Everything about the process of creating interests me.

Typically I start working on a new StainedGlassArt panel by wandering my studio and choosing the random materials to use. I am a collector of anything that catches my eye.

What colours am I drawn to today? What shades? What textures?
What shapes? What other materials (agates? Antique dish ware? Branches? Glass nuggets?).
The design process, for me, is very fluid. I lose myself in the joy of imagination.
