Geneviève LeDuc is a self-taught feminist artist that has been focusing intensively on abstract acrylic painting since 2020. She is passionate about female empowerment and seeks to create artwork that inspires women, those that identify as women, and girls, to claim space in their own lives, as well as within the systems that govern them.
In her paintings Geneviève explores the deep energetic connection between the feminine and the universe. She paints energy using flowing lines and bold colours. Her figures often merge with natural elements such as the sun, flowers, or water.
Geneviève currently lives in Ottawa, Canada, which she has called home off and on throughout her life, interspersed with years living and travelling in Asia, Europe, and Central America.
