Pat Forrest
Fused Glass, Acrylic & Watercolour
Pat Forrest is a constant creator and lives in Renfrew, Ontario. She loves to paint in both watercolour and acrylic paints and now includes fused glass to her art mediums. After a work career of over 30 years in Ottawa's high tech sector, and more recently a licensed realtor for 12 years, Pat has now taken the leap of being a full time artist and she looks forward to having even more time to create and paint.
Pat began painting in 1989 as a decorative painter. After a few years of classes she began teaching beginners in small groups where she enjoyed encouraging and coaching others to paint and practice. Pat enjoys painting with acrylics on canvas, and really loves the how watercolour creates such wonderful creations with the blending of the pure pigments.
Pat's paintings and glass art focus on nature and wildlife. From trees to birds, and barns to boats, her newest form of painting is en plein air. There is always so much more to learn!
