Pauline Clarkson

I sought subjects that would complement my interest in form shapes and colour I have been inspired by the work of Sid Jacobs 1917 abstract expressionist, he painted tops to camouflage tanks and military equipment and this is where layering hiding and revealing came in covering certain sections and letting interesting things peek through I also like working this way my paintings.
I have been shown internationally I’ve had solo shows and touring group exhibitions with the McMichael in Kleinburg.
In 2020 I was inducted into the Ontario Society Of Artists 0SA.
I continuously take master classes with John Leonhard in Toronto.
