Andrie's art journey spans the past 30 years in both visual arts and performing arts. Visual arts are now her primary focus. She is an active member of several art associations in the National Capital Region and has studied online with international art instructors.
Andrie’s work is often inspired by big ideas like environmental stewardship, defending one’s truth, and aging with grace. These ideas are explored and captured as a moment of energy and emotion that invite viewers to pause, reflect, and feel.
In performing arts Andrie has been a playwright, director, and performer. She also founded and led a not-for-profit theatre company for twelve years. Just Kiddin' Theatre catered to the development of young performers in Ottawa's rural south. The organization's mandate was to provide inclusivity and frequently customized scripts to support children with disabilities.
