I enjoy doing highly detailed pastel paintings of pets, wildlife, landscapes and people. I have done many commissioned pieces, including a special retirement portrait of a landscape scene for the Township of North Frontenac. I primarily use pastel pencils, but also use soft pastel sticks, and pan pastels. I look forward to every challenge that is given to me, whether it be a beautiful bird, a family pet or someone's uncle. I also belong to Arts Carleton Place, Rideau Lakes Artists Association and the North Frontenac Back Roads Studio Tour.
